My First Blog

So yeah, I've decided to start an online blog. We'll see how far I end up getting, but everything in life is worth trying once right? Well I guess I'll start with the basics. My name is Tyler Larsen. I am 18 years old and currently reside in Heber City, Utah (although pretty soon here that will hopefully change to Orem/Provo, Utah). I live with my dad, Paul, my 16 year old sister, Chelsea, and my Grandma and Grandpa (on my dads side). I work for a Midway based company, Reed Data. I do data conversions, data entry and management, and a little software support. In my spare time I like to hang out with my best friend, Travis. There isn't much to do in Heber (another good reason for moving), so we usually just end up going bowling, or driving to Provo or Park City. I really like sports, namely football and basketball. I was recently called as the basketball coach over the young men in my ward, and I am really looking forward to the challenges and learning opportunities that come with coaching. The team I will be coaching won't be the most talented, but hopefully we can all have fun and win at least a few games. Other than everything I just mentioned there isn't much more to know about me. When it comes to my family, my parents are currently in the middle of a divorce. Hopefully they are close to getting everything worked out, but only time will tell. The divorce is trying on everyone, but it is especially trying on the youngest of the children. Dallin, Ashlyn, and especially the youngest Mickey, are really struggling with what to do and who to turn to. We can only hope that once everything is worked out between my parents, things will return to normal. There will always be trials to go thru, and I can only hope that these trials will make me and my siblings stronger. Hmm, I can't really think of anything else to say, and it is getting a little late. Who knows if I'll be consistent in blogging or not, but I hope that I am consistent, just because it's good to let everything out every now and then (not that writing what your feeling will ever be as good as talking to an actual person). I'll leave with a quote I stole from my sister (she's always giving me a hard time, accusing me of always stealing things she's said or acting the way she acts. I think she just needs to get over herself) anyways, here's the quote, "some people put up walls, not to block people out, but just to see who cares enough to tear them down."
