Pre-Valentines Day Take One
This is amazing. Usually I'd be suprised with myself for writing a blog once a week, but today I'm disapointed. By now I thought I would've had hundreds and hundreds of blog posts (ok maybe not that many) written about all the good things and all the bad things and all the happy and sad things. But here we are, its January 18, and I've only had six or seven posts. Like I said before, its not like I've done a terrible job of trying to keep up to date on my posts, its just that maybe I'm not where I want to be right now in my blogging (wow that sounds really weird). Anyways, today is Thursday which means that I have to coach my young mens team tonight. Its not that I'm not looking forward to it, but it can be frustrating when they turn the ball over several times in a row, or miss all their shots, or loose by a lot like they did last week. Its not all bad like it sounds though, its amazing to see how much improvement they have made when it comes to the second half of the game. Tonight should be fun, because no matter what happens it will deinatly be an improvement from last weeks game. And too, its fun to watch and coach my brother.
Onto the interesting and possibly contriversial topic though, the title of this blog. For starters, this will be my first Valentines Day in a long time that I will spend single. Yes, shocking I know. For some strang reason I always seem to be with someone when Valentines Day rolls around.This year however, things are shaping up to be much different. I'm on a crash course right now to be single for Valentines Day and I'm not really interested in doing anything to alter that. Its not like Valentines Day single is that boring. You can always go around hitting on all the lonely-for-love-single women. Thats always fun to do year-round though, but on Valentines Day I'm sure it can be pulled off with unrivaled success. But in all honesty though, I think this Valentines Day is going to be rather lonely for me.
Well, to follow the trend of my last few blogs I'll keep this one short and sweet. There will be more to folllow for sure, as life these days is becoming either rather hectic or rather boring (take your pick).

i will have you know that i was planning on writing a valentine's day blog BEFORE i even looked at yours. and also, i was going to write an "i learned" list, then i looked at your blog that one time, and you already had it. because the week before you wrote that one, i wrote a list exactly like that to jennifer in school. so don't even say i'm stealing your ideas. lol. we just think alike apparently. and i'm not changing the way i think. :)
