Pre-Valentines Day Take Two

Mondays have become one of the worst days of the week. Monday night football has come and gone, so now all we're left with is the start of another fun work week. The truth is, no matter how much we all hate Mondays, we should in some small way be grateful for them. You see, if it weren't for Monday then Tuesday would be the first day of our week and we would all hate Tuesdays. We should be grateful to Monday for taking our hate without complaining and still showing up every week to see us off. We should salute Mondays for their perseverance in the face of our anger. Other than that though, Mondays do really suck.

So even though my premonition that I would be single this St. Valentines Day will continue to remain, I have come up with an ingenious scheme that might make the day not as lonely as I before thought it would be. As clever and crafty as this plan of mine is, I am still debating whether this idea is worth following through with or not. If you were to question my sister (who's birthday just happens to be tomorrow, Happy Birthday sis!) whether my plan was a wise one or not, she would respond in the negative; adding that I am desperate smitten fool who is wrapped around the pinkie of a girl out to make my life miserable. As heartless as it may sound, there would be still be a grain of truth in her statement. It is true that the girl I'm considering visiting does have me wrapped around her little finger, and there may be truth in the statement that I am a desperately fool. The real truth though, is that we both miss each other and seeing each other again on Valentines Day would be quite a treat.

Anyways though, tomorrow is Tuesday and that means Men's Basketball. We've dropped two straight now so this week is gonna be a big game for us. Its mid season on Wednesday so it's important that we not loose. If we win this game, we're at .500 halfway through the year instead of being .333 if we loose. Also, if we loose tomorrow then it will be impossible for us to have a winning season. Even if we won all our remaining games, we'd end 3-3 which is unacceptable. Even though we might make the regional playoffs with a 3-3 record, we're guaranteed to be in at 4-2 so its imperative we win all of our remaining games.

Well that's it for today. Happy Monday everyone and have a great week!
