I'd Like To Think The World Is A Better Place
Another weekend come and gone, and another Monday morning blog. I feel kinda like Peter King, a editor for SI.com. His weekly article, Monday Morning Quarterback, comes out every (you'd never have guessed) Monday morning, and is always a fun way to start the day. He goes over everything from NFL training camps, to the Combine, to "10 Things I Think I Think". It really is a very good article. I highly recommend it. If you like football....
This week is definitely looking up, especially compared to last week. Tonight me and Trav are going to the Jazz-Lakers game. I'm not sure how good our seats are, but every basketball game is always fun to watch, and its the Lakers....you can't go wrong there. Tuesday is Mickeys (my youngest sister) birthday. She's turning 11 (i think) and for about two months, she will be the same age as my next youngest sister. I'm going shopping with Chelsea right after she gets out of school to find Mickey a present. Even though Tuesday is her actual birthday, we'll be having Mickey's party Wednesday because she'll be at my moms house on Tuesday. I don't think I have any plans for Thursday, but like always Friday night is Red Pin Bowling. I went asked Natalie if she wanted to come, and she said she'd get back to me (she said that last time though) but even if she's not there it'll still be fun. Saturday is the concert, but I might not go. Trav says he might have to work, and if he does I'll probably just give the tickets to my sister and she can go with one of her friends.
All in all this next week should be full of good things. Hannah has a new boy toy now, so I wish her the best of luck with that. As cool as I think it would be if she still liked me, as long as she's happy thats all that matters (I know guys say that all the time, but I really do mean it).
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Me and Trav are making big plans for this summer/upcoming fall. We've talked about a couple different options, but we'll have to see how they all play out. My cousin has a restaurant in Moab, and we may spend the summer working down there. This fall we're gonna be looking at starting school, possibly down in St. George. If that doesn't work out, we'll get an apartment either up here in Heber or down in Orem. If all of those fall through the cracks, my dad might finally be getting his own place and I won't have to live with my grandparents anymore. If worse comes to worse and none of the above ideas end up working out like we'd like them too, we'll spend our summer camping and messing around, enjoying the bright sunlight and wasting away the days and the long hot summer nights.
